As\u00ed es como\nel ingenio de Pat Metheny, quien a los doce a\u00f1os decidi\u00f3 cambiar la trompeta\npor la guitarra, irrump\u00eda en la escena jazz\u00edstica con una admirable capacidad\nde improvisaci\u00f3n y sensibilidad r\u00edtmica, abarcando tambi\u00e9n al swing y a las\nnotas bluseras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tenistenis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pat-metheny.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1028\" width=\"579\" height=\"386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tenistenis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pat-metheny.jpg 442w, https:\/\/tenistenis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/pat-metheny-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Su primer \u00e1lbum \u201cBright Size Life\u201d, surgi\u00f3 en 1975, donde\naplicando nuevas tecnolog\u00edas a la par de un trabajo constante, logr\u00f3 posicionar\ncon fuerza la magia de su instrumento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1977, el guitarrista decide unir talentos con el\ntecladista Lyle Mays, para crear \u201cPat Metheny Group\u201d, a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde se unir\u00edan\nal proyecto, el productor Steve Rodby y el baterista Paul Wertico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y para este 1983, el \u00e1lbum \u201cTravels\u201d, hac\u00eda su arribo, siendo\nsu primer material en vivo, grabado un a\u00f1o antes durante una gira por ciudades\ncomo Filadelfia, Dallas y Sacramento, entre otras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este disco cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n del baterista Dan\nGottlieb y del percusionista Nan\u00e1 Vasconcelos, quienes uniendo su talento con\nla agrupaci\u00f3n,&nbsp; obtuvieron el Grammy por\nMejor Performance de Jazz Fusi\u00f3n, en este mismo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"MYcZ6s3z1jg\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pat Metheny - And I Love Her (The Beatles)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MYcZ6s3z1jg?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La ciudad de Kansas, ver\u00eda nacer a uno de los mejores guitarristas de jazz, cuyo auge se postraba en estos a\u00f1os ochenta.
